Has anyone ever known somebody (or been somebody) who gets a landlord that plays internet poker, and will accept rent payments through a net poker site?
I was having the idea because im planning on moving out NEXT summer, and if my bankroll is big enough, live (or at least have one of my main incomes) off poker...
Anybody know anything about this? is it legal?
PS: This isnt until NEXT summer, but if anyone has any offers for lettin me move in, PM me :P

Why can't you just cash out and pay? I dont understand how doing the transfer through a poker site helps you? You still pay the same amount? I don't think you can fool him with play money...
But if you could find a landlord willing to play you for the rent money that would be interesting.

Bad idea. You need a paper trail for your rent payments. What if an unethical landlord claims you didn't pay the rent? It would be nice to have a cancelled check in such a case.

Whateva you do make sure there is evidence you have paid your rent. Landlords WILL screw you if they can. I know.

Do you think there are any landlords who would take "Canned Beets" in exchange for rent?
None of the homeless guys down here at the shelter will eat them, but I thought, maybe if I could find a landlord who loved Beets, he might trade them for some rent.
It's worth a shot right?

Move to Philly - thay have city wide wifi.
Get a laptop, a cardboard box to live in, and a can of beets.
