Aww man - I'm trying to turn into one of those guys with cool, two word posts and I get slapped down immediately.
I won my first trial as an honest to god lawyer today. You know a trial with a jury and a judge and witnesses and bailiff's and some weird lady hitting buttons on a weird machine and everything - sorta like you might see on tv.
Imagine that...

The case involved an inmated who sued his unit's supervisor saying she retaliated against him because he had written a complaint against her friend. He wasn't able to prove that she even knew about the complaint - I won on a directed verdict. Nothing huge, but nice to get the first one under my belt.
