WTF...
I am something like an absurd 10% for my last 40 picks. Tonight, I only pick the dog whose line doesn't budge that much (out of 3 which the public was was on at 75+%). The other two? New York and Denver. I talked myself out of those because A) the line moved the correct way and B) lots of their starters were suspended.
And what do those two do? Not only do they cover, but they both WIN. And the one I bet on? Currently, Sacramento is getting their face owned by Dallas in the fourth.
I don't know what I did to deserve this, but picking 10% is fucking ridiculous. That means that anybody laying -900 against each one of my bets is breakeven. -900!!! And most of my bets would be the other side laying like -150 or something. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Uncle, NBA. Uncle. Obviously, you wanted to beat down my arrogance and my luck in the beginning. You've accomplished that. My spirit is broken; I don't know wtf is going on anymore.
The white flag is waving. Please, stop the hurting...

I'll second that it is extremely hard to do. So many options for so many different ways for teams to lose or gain points. But that doesn't mean it's not fun to do .

QFT. But there are guys out there who can document 60%+ winning seasons, so it's possible.
FWIW lee, I've thought about shutting down the NBA too. I'm only treading water (and slowly sinking the past week) despite putting more and more effort into it. For now I'm just going to slow down a little bit though and make sure I feel really good about plays before I make them.
Not sure what the best thing for you to do is... take a week off from the NBA and concentrate on kicking some ass in the NFL this weekend? BOL to you, in any case.

Sorry to read about your cold spell Lee -
Maybe try NCAA? There are generally better values, it's
easier to cap, and the steam plays (anti-public) that you like are
more reliable.
