Post subject: i saved somebody's life yesterday

so yesterday was one of my old friend's 21st, so a bunch of people went over her house then went up to a bar. nothing too out of the ordinary there. there was this one girl though who apparently graduated from my high school 2 years before me and lost 100 pounds or something so i have no idea who she was. anyway as time passes at the bar, she is passed the fuck out. like out cold, done, yadayada.
crazy college girls (ccg) are trying to carry her out at the bartender's instructions but fail miserably so they ask me to help. i carry her to the bathroom until she starts flailing her arms and i set her down on the bathroom floor where she is puking everywhere and something is just out of the ordinary (like beyond the passed out and puking on the floor part). i say that we have to call 911 but ccg thinks i'm crazy. i really don't know anybody around if it means anything. so nobody is going to do it so i do. paramedics get there within 5 minutes or so and she's carried out, out cold, on a stretcher.
i wake up this morning and apparently she was on depression meds and had a severe case of alcohol poisoning and had to have her stomach pumped, etc. she likely would have died if it weren't for me.
side story: 'old friend' was actually a girl i dated for a couple years. awkward moments ensue. i end up getting hammered, get driven back to her house where i throw up on myself in a guy's car (who is a pretty ballin dude but i always got the feeling he didn't like me too much). i pass out on the couch at my ex-gf's house, more awkward moments follow in the morning. i drive home and write a trip report on ftr.

I definately thought it was gonna be eric over exagerating some mundane act of kindness, then meeting some girl but then nothing happens. Eric are you taking some creative writing classes in your spare time?

My stories end with banging the ex on the sofa. The only awkward moment is when she wips out my $#@*, and it slams her in the middle of the forehead.

the only other time that the second one came even remotely close to happening was with gabe and swig, and that was actually in the morning when i wasn't drunk, just a little hungover, and was entirely due to motion sickness (swig drove, stick shift). plus that was entirely in an isolated part of the parking lot and the only thing that came up was water. probably a good thing because there were a solid 6 or 7 heaves.
