I only have a couple weeks until my thesis defense and I keep procrastinating on FTR. I need to go away for a bit.

I have two reasons for posting this:
First, is that I am clearly incapable of flipping this switch off mentally. So I'm hoping that making a formal statement allows me to focus and get my work done.

Second, is that I am giving you free-reign to belittle me if I make any more posts before recalling this statement (bigred can take a lead in this if he wishes).

My intent is not to clutter the forum, but that I have to accept this weakness (which I personally acknowledged weeks ago) and get my shit done. I think making these statements will be enough to keep me away.

So, with the next post hopefully I'll be your master. I mean hopefully I'll have my masters and then oodles of free time to contribute something substantial to FTR.

P.S. This feels really lame since so many people have serious problems and all I have to do is focus on writing a paper.

I should do this too, but then i look down and realize I HAVE A SACK! haha
kidding - I can't tell you how many hours of work i have wasted on this site...Well, not wasted, cause i enjoy every moment, but am doing less and less work for more reading...probably not good - then again, they just gave me another raise last week - so maybe the Appearance of work is all i really need - Something about a cluttered desk says "this guy is fucking BUSY!" but a clean desk might not get the same respect, right
