I've been running pretty bad lately (and sick of looking at my borring desktop) and decided my computer needs some Feng Shui action. But everytime I find a picture I want, it looks like garbage when I set it as my background. $5 on Stars to whoever finds a ballin picture that doesn't look like shit.

Not "perfect" easily 9/10 though
Haven't found a decent looking picture on google yet. Where would I just find pics that are high enough resolution i guess that won't look grainy and blurry when I put them up?

Well, I was checking out this thread

and have been using the Jessica Alba one for a month or so. But none of the others are BOC enough for me. Every picture on there comes out fine and actually looks great when I set it as background but everything else I find like random pics off the internet look distorted/blurry etc. What is it about those pictures that make them look good and not one I find off Google images? Keep in mind I have the same understanding of computers as a 70 year old woman.

what is your resolution? try to find one to match it. if the pic is too small, sat 800x600 and you run 1600x1200 or w/e it will look crappy when you put as your bg. also, if you use regular images on a widescreen monitor it will look bad as well.
