Ok, proposition time. I will pay $50 transfer on Stars, Tilt, AP or any other site that takes ePassport for a design that my wife approves of for a tattoo we both are getting.
Super sad story to start. Last year, in January, my wife was 24 weeks pregnant with twins. Not to go into details, but after some complications, one died before it was born and the other passed the next day. Everything is coming along for her now and she is ready to have a permanent memorial done in ink. We are getting the exact same one and will also have the stone at the cemetery done with this design.
Here is the details we need done in the design.
names: Aiden and Aaron.
birthdate: Jan 25, 2006 and then two dates Aiden Jan 25th and Aaron 26th (with / with out R.I.P.)done in roman numerals (Jan=I, 25=XXV, 26=XXVI, 2006=MMVI
Aquarius sign. Either something like this

These are the two signs one or the other or both.
And some incidentals, a cross, dove or a scroll. Nothing too religious. I am hoping for something like having the water carrier pouring the water and have it fade into either a scroll or a pool and have the names with the dates below each name and have the birth date either between or centered somewhere else. The names can be whatever text to look right with the roman numerals.
We are getting these done on Sunday by two great artists. They are Filipino immigrants that are working here for a two years and studying art. Friend of a friend sort of thing. They just need to have the actual Idea done. They will shade and draw the final Tat when we are there. I am just looking for the concept, a layout if you will. I told the wife I have the best resource for these things, with the broad amount of talents we have here, someone can come up with the right one in a day where it may take us a week or two.
I'm really hoping you guys can come thru. Keep it simple or go nuts if you want. These guys can copy anything, or make spectacular art out of a pencil sketch. Thank you guys just for reading this far, it's much appreciated.

TJ,
Sorry about the loss. I have to imagine this is tough to bring up.
-------------------------
The main idea here is having the names flow down the river

The font is meh, it needs some texture at least. The river sucks, but I'm not good at drawing rivers
Anyone can feel free to expand/improve. I wouldn't take any money for this anyway.

sorry for your loss, Tj.
This is just a very rough layout but you'll get the idea. I chose to use the image of kneeling water carriers as that seems more respectful/mournful than the standing ones. They are both kneeling on large stones with the names of the twins engraved in each, and are embraced by the cross behind them. They are pouring the water into a pool that is surrounded by lilies to symbolize death (Cala lilies on the borders, water lilies in the pool). The water flows out of the pool and the year of their passing is again engraved in stone. I see the water flowing in and out of the pool as symbolizing a brief passage in and out of life.
The image will need to be embellished a lot more before it is finished but I'd like your feedback before I go any farther. This might be enough for your guys to go on but let me know.

Edit: a variation of the layout...angel on her knees between the two water bearers with her hands on their shoulders looking doen into the pool.

You guys are great. Thanks for the thoughts. I've had a little easier time with it than the wife, obviously. I will let her check out some when she gets home. If you have any other ideas let me know. The details you draw are good enough since it's just going to be what we take to them to finalize depending on what they can do. These guys can take stick figures and turn them into living pieces of art, so It's jut the concept I need.
As for where we will put them, they will be identical Tat's on me and the wife. I think mine is going on the back, just around or below the shirt collar. My wife is going to use her calf or shoulder depending on the size we go with.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. This is a nice idea and a wonderful tribute.
Warpe has definitely got talent and you probably can't do better than what he graciously provided. One small suggestion is to add wings to the cherub water carriers to help symbolize angels, but Warpe's sketch is excellent.
Wish you both well.

Yes he does, thanks Crusher. We were thinking for now we may go with something along those lines, and changing the cross to a Celtic cross (the wife just likes them a lot) and putting the Zig zag zodiac on the jugs. Lastly, we are undecided on a "R.I.P." or an "In Memory of"but leaning towards the later actually. I never thought of it last night. I am more than willing to look at others if anyone thinks they may have something good or a different angle. Thanks again guys.
