I hate that some piece of s..t can attach his little pet bill at midnight banning a game that he has no idea about. What a joke. I served this country in the military, in the infantry, so its ok that I can get deployed to the desert to fight a war but I cant sit in my living room and play poker? Who gives the government the right to tell me that I cant waste my money any way that I want?
WHY is it okay for people to gamble on HORSE RACING!?!?! But I cant play a game where it actually takes some skill?!?!?!? Where you are either GOOD or BAD? OH. Thats right. Its because RICH people like horse racing. THANK GOD we have rich people to look out for us, the poor uneducated ogres that we are, because without their HELP, we would just PISS all of our money away on DRUGS AND POKER!!
It makes me so mad. I am a republican, a conservative, AND AN AMERICAN. Why do these RETARDED right wing CUMDUPMSTERS try and control us? Dont we have the right to do the wrong thing? (quote-unqoute) ISNT THIS AMERICA???????????I wish I could find this senator assface, or whatever his name is, and just have 5 minutes to smash his face in.

I think most of us are with you, although we might express ourselves in a little different, more controlled manner.
Certainly the government is encroaching too far on many levels, this one just hits home on this forum. The government has absolutely no right to tell anyone how to spend their money. They wouldn't stop you from buying a thousand twinkies, and that'd probably be just as bad. Or maybe buying those tapes where you can get rich buying houses with no money down.
You'd like to say "if they block this, they should block this and that and whatever." Clearly though, they shouldn't block any of it. This is another big-government bill.

I feel really sorry for you guys/gals, it just does not make sense that they are blocking onlne poker in the US. I don't think they understand how many peoples lives are going to be affected by it. Even though I am in the UK I have lost big as hold a number of gambling stocks (party/sporting bet).
Can/Is anything being done to prevent it? Or as American citizens are your hands tied? I just don't see how this is sustainable?

On another note, what are you guys doing with your bankrolls? Im scared of getting blocked off of the sites with my money stuck on there. I took all my money off of partypoker and everything but 2k off of FT. Figured that 10 buy ins was the least i could play with. Do you think I should take even more off?

totally insane and is an insult of free democracy.
As European player I have strong fear that EU will
follow US path in the near future.
I hope everyone who plays online poker seriously
in USA should commit himself to fight against this law in
