Two of the articles I wrote for Associated Content about a week and a half ago got published today.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...about_our.html

http://www.associatedcontent.com/art..._gambling.html

So yeah, the articles pretty much suck for anyone who knows shit about gambling and EV, but now I can put “freelance writer” on my resume’, right?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

swiggidy will become famous soon enough
congrats spoon. That's pretty cool.

Overall the articles are well written and they are a nice easy read. (FWIW, I think the 4th paragraph in the first article is a little awkward discussing the math of the coin-flip).

I really like comparing the lottery to an unbalanced flipping of a coin. If you came up with that kudos.

I just spewed mountain dew when I read that

But yeah I came up with the idea of comparing the lottery to the unbalanced coin thingie, so yay me

I've got tons of old chess stuff I wrote when I was active playing tournaments and coaching more and whatnot, and I've been copy/pasting those to see how it turns out, and so far they're getting paid well considering it's a copy/paste of what I've just got saved on my hard drive :P
