Ok, this one tops the list. I can't stand these punk ass marketers pulling this crap off. I thought of creating a product just like this a few months ago, but just could not bring myself to do it.
Just like many others, I too have a poker book I wrote. But there is one huge difference between me and 95% of the others online. I don't lie.
I don't deceive. I actually try to help people win, which is why I FU#$#@
hate assholes like this guy Ken Chan.
heres the URL, {url removed}
This guy seriously pisses me off. I thought Rob Eagle of Party Poker Cracked made me mad, but damn this punk is over the edge. The worst part is, he's a pro marketer. I would not doubt it if he never played a single hand in his whole life. Chances are he subcontracted his ebook out to some poor kid in Romania for $300.
So I looked up his domain registration. If any of you did not know this, get ready for a treat.
http://www.whois.sc
Just type in any domain name and it will reveal the persons name, address, and all types of stuff.
So I was wondering, does anyone want to give Mr. Chan a call.
Whois info is
domain name: {domain removed}
Administrative Contact:
Chan, Ken Whois Privacy and Spam Prevention by Whois Source
1057 Steeles Ave. W Suite #509
toronto, ON m2r3X1

{Url and domain info removed for google spiders. No sense in giving this guy more advertisement. Domain was dead anyway. -gutshot}

Well at the very least, the Who is info is a damn gem.
That site will serve many people well in the future if they use it.
Secondly the point was it is extremely frustrating for asshole like this to promote products that are absolute shams. It hurts the whole industry.

I would agree, It a a bunch of shit. The sad thing is that a lot of people probably did buy it. Enough to make it profitable for the guy anyays. There needs to be more false adverstising laws on the internet.

What industry is this? The multi billion dollar Poker E-book industry? Gimme a break. There are tons of clowns who sell e-books from "how to cheat poker" to "DIY sex change operation in 21 days" and everything in between. I don't understand why you are so up in arms about it and why you think we should care. Let all the fish go buy the book and bring their money to the tables. I can guarantee that they will not be "cheating" the games as much as they'd like to think.

Yeah, this is the same POS that is being offered on eBay mentioned in the Million Dollar thread, but that guy bought it from Ken and is apparently remarketing it. This Ken guy also has psudonyms he works under. Bad, bad man.

To be honest, I could care less if you care. I care because I actually sell a product that is very helpful to many people. Punks like this make marketing legit products much tougher.
It's kind of like a bad car salesman. They all have a bad rap because of a few slimeballs.
Luckily though, I have about 6 other websites that are much more profitable than my poker site. It's awfully hard not to create bs products like this and make 4 to 5 times what I'm making now. I just don't believe in ripping people off.

Fair enough, however anything the furthers the perception that online games are crooked is really bad for everyone. Particularly when the truth is that online games are probably the best policed games you will ever find, particularly at the small and middle stakes where cheating just isn't even close to worth it.
