I still liked it but it's definitely not the same show without AJ and I really don't care to hear players describe exactly what we just saw in some dumb on the spot interview shortly after. I also didn't like all the other dumb gimmicky stuff like "Did you know...?"
Even withthat nonsense it's still the best poker show on tv. I also lol'd at Phil Ivey, "Same hand I had last hand," then mucks pre.

Whilst AJ Benza wasn't charismatic, wasn't often funny, and wasn't that entertaining, he did his job of proving Gabe a platform to wisecrack really well, and that's what made them such an awesome duo. Now Gabe just comes across like a funny but tragic lonesome alcoholic at the bar.

It was also so akward how the opening camera shot was Gabe standing there slightly offset to the left, with empty space for somebody else to be standing beside him, before panning across and zooming in so it was just Gabe.
