I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Phil Galfond said in an interview that they booted him after the first session because he just didn't create any action... and he's obviously not a tight player - he is by HSP standards though.
My guess is that it's the same with Townsed.

I liked Benza. I think it was great to have someone who would throw in just totally random questions and announce who put in a straddle and who didn't. He was perfect as a co-host.
If they throw in some poker chick idk if that will create an interesting dynamic.

^^For the time Glfond played, he did play pretty snug, but no worse than say Phil Laak. He just wasnt constantly babbling like Laak which apparently makes for good tv...
I confess in quicksand

IIRC after the Galfond ep someone here posted a link to his blog or w/e and he said that he that ep was right before the 500k BI show which he was also supposed to play. He didn't have that much more than needed for the 500k show so had to play snug they day before, then since he played tight they bumped him from the 500k line up.
