Hi, first time poster, long time reader. (lmao sounds like a fuking radio phone in or something nm).
Ive been playing poker for about 3 years, mostly in the APL/house games and free online torneys etc. Im 20yrs old and a engineering student at Newcastle Uni NSW Australia. Ive read most of the posts on this site and eat it up. Its helped me a lot and is one of the major reasons (along with the dozen or so books ive read recently by skiansky brunsen etcetc, experience, and watching money ring games and taking notes {i even have some on some of you lol}) i feel that im ready to move into playing for real.
My initial BR will be ~$400, and ive got a fairly good idea where im gunna start, .50-1 limit Hdm 6 max (got hooked by pokerfans video), jackpot SNGs 5.50 (titan), and some small buy in omaha torneys if can find them. ANY advise/tips you got for me would be appreciated, expecially if it involves better ways to increase my BR, tools, sites etc.

G'day mate, good to see another Aussie on FTR! Good to have you here.
If you're interested in playing SNGs, I suggest making a deposit at PS before Tuesday (19th Sept) as they have a deposit b0nus going there at the moment, which are about as good as they get for SNG players.

ahh cool ty taipan, quick question. Theres a lot of first deposit bonuses going around, could you just go from site to site depositing, playing the required raked hands needed to get bonus and move on for other sites first deposit bonus'?

Here, I fixed it in ImageReady. First (top) image is the original cropped to 180px. Second (bottom) image is the original shrunk to 180px. Take your pic (I like the first one myself; in the cropped version the pink effect just doesn't extend as far out to the right). To the right of each I put the original to compare.

You definitely can. Because I suck at anything other than single table SNGs, I've pretty much just stuck with Stars. Do a search for "bonus whoring" and you'll come up with a bunch of threads detailing different posters' escapades in getting free money from various sites.

realistically almost all super heroes as drawn in comic books would look like complete fags in real life. This is why comic book movies sucked so much for so long. The costume designers would stick strickly to the comics, or sometimes ad even more outrageously flamboyant stuff. Like in the batman tv series.
Anyways, gambit was def my favorite xmen character. His creole accent is bad ass. Was anyone else really into comics back in the day? I remember there was this one comic called battle chasers, it didnt run for long but that was my favorite comic book.

If only comic books taught you what vaginas are and how to use your penis with one...I would have been off to a better start in my later years.

after loosing 2 half buyins and realising that im better than this shit, im up $140 after a 3 hour session doing what ilikeaces and warpe suggested thanks guys, its pretty intense but fun..beginners luck? possible. ty for the advise im gunna start max buyin soon and move up once i hit 1k. sets = money <3, id post some hands but you guys read enough of that shit and rly dont give a fuk about the money level im at atm lol.
i also drank 4 red bulls and feel like shit atm
