I have always been in good shape, but always ate more than an average amount of fast food my entire adult life, and even when not eating fast food I was eating frozen dinners at home or delivery pizza.

You name it, McDonalds, Wendys, Jack In The Box, KFC, Taco Bell, Carls Jr, Burger King, Subway (yeah subway is fast food and even though they say it is healthy, the sodium in any of their sandwiches is very high) I LOVED THEM ALL

Then back around April or so, I was feeling dizzy a lot. After I went to the hospital for Kidney Stones, the doctors told me I needed to take care of my blood pressure as it was wayyy to high (guess it was 180/110).

After discovering for the first time what high levels of sodium are in all fast foods (and any restaurant food for that matter), I went on a strict sodium diet that eliminated almost all visits to fast food places, pizza and frozen dinners. The doctor wanted me on High Blood Pressure medicine, but said I could give the changed diet a few months.

Guess the bad news is I still love those fast food places, but the Good News is my diet has allowed my blood pressure to slowly go lower from 180 to 160 to 150 etc until it is regularly now at 130/85, which is pretty close to exactly normal.

mbiz is an unknown quantity at this point
in melbourne you cant turn a corner without finding a bar selling 'handrolls' (big sushi rolls) - they are cheap and reasonably healthy and i do smash them frequently.

my fast food habits are pretty sporadic but maybe some trash ass meal (kfc etc) once every week or two at the moment, and a better one (curry, thai) about once a week or two as well.

on a semi related note:

I think it was 3800 calories, took that down in about 40 minutes. I'm 5'10 170 at the moment. I can crush just an insane amount of food, mainly because I can eat really fast. I had a job once w/o a lunch break, and I usually worked like ~12 hours straight eating once the entire time. I learned to down a bigass meal in about 5 minutes. Currently I eat one meal a day, sometimes two, if I wake up really hungry. Usually I wait about 6 hours after waking up then eat all my cals in one meal.
why can jews eat so much? I am the same but i am rail thin.

I haven't been eating any typical fast food since around May of this year. Been trying to lose weight and get fit and healthy. The closest to fast food might be Chipotle (where I usually get a no-tortilla bowl instead of the burrito) or a sandwich from Jersey Mike's (but I won't eat all the bread, even though it is whole wheat). And I haven't had a pizza since March.

I've been cooking most of my meals these days and choosing better restaurants when eating out.
