Does anyone here watch House MD on Fox? Does anyone think he'd be an amazing poker player. He is sarcastic and aggressive, but can back it up when need be. When people finally push on him, he shows he has the goods.
Plus, he'd have the best poker face EVER

It is strange to see a quintessential Englishman like Hugh Laurie playing a character like this with an American accent. He does an excellent job. Top show.
The role is a bit of a contrast from his early comedy roles such as the idiot Prince George in Blackadder the Third.

Not to mention his Brunsonesque limp.
