Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

I play poker at a racetrack. I was sitting at a table a couple of weeks ago when one of the players was checking his tickets and said, completely deadpan "I just won $15,000 on my horse." Apparently he made the same bet on the same numbers each time and was so far down that a $15,000 had no excitement for him at all. I stay away from the horses.

I've been known to lose up to £50 a week at the greyhound track

I used to run a revised martingale system on the horses. Wish I had done more research into it before I put it into practice.
I turned a £100 starting BR into just over £7k over the course of about 3 months before hitting a horrible losing streak one day when 7 short odds favourites lost in a row, wiping out almost my entire BR. The stress levels where somewhat high that day! I just stick to poker these days, far less stressful
