Anyone try this feat.

How drunk do you get with power hour and should i do it this saturday night.

Or should i skip and join the century club.

If anyone doesn't know what the power hour is it is 50 shots of beer in 60 miuntes roughly 8 beer.

Century is 100 in 100.

Haha i like that game. Power hour, never done century club, joined mile high club with courite though.

 A true century club uses full 1.5 oz shots, and consumes roughly 12 beers in an hour and 40 minutes... It is a test of pure will power. It not simply a question of feeling drunk (you do) but it's moreso an ability to fight off the bubbles and excessive carbonation. A good chunk of the people I know who have attempted this have booted some where along the way.

It's definitely doable... but I'd suggest doing it with friends who can really drink.. watch Animal House while you do it.. perfect movie (and comes it at almost exactly 100 minutes).. get a decent watch that you can program the intervals into it so you don't lose track of time. GL!

ive done about a billion power hours..so you can definetaly do it we do a shot a minute for 60 min, anything less is pussy shit. You should download a good power hour mix...every minute the song changes and you take a shot....it helps around 45 mins when you start to forget Oh, and make sure you blow all the air out of your lungs before you take the shots.

Yes i've done it. I wasn't so drunk towards the end that I wanted to stop, it was just that my stomach was so full, every beer I was fighting off my gag reflex.

I can drink with the best of them but I failed in my only attempt at the power hour.

The bubbles in my stomach just wouldn't let me finish.

Yeah that game is cool, we have a similar one that all the students in England do called The Centurian, 100 shots of beer in 100 mins.

 I honestly have never done the Power Hour, just by itself.. although it's inherently included in the Century Club. From what I can recollect, the Century Club doesn't really get challenging until the 50's or so...

Throughout the 20s and 30s it almost seems stupid, because you don't feel drunk or anything (why would you after 20 minutes).. then the 50's hit and you're like.. shit, this is starting to feel uncomfortable. I hope those that stopped after 60 can appreciate the fight to go up to 100.. it's tough... eventually (can't name specific minutes here but I'll guess around 80) you become fucking hammered, you're sick of taking shots and drinking beer, and you just want to stop....

I do think it's imperative to emphasize the use of full 1.5 oz shots. I ran into many people in college who bragged on about completing the century club, later to realize they only consumed 8 beers by using 1 oz shots. Drinking 8 beers in 100 minutes vs. 12 beers is, in practical terms, the difference between a 5k and a marathon.

Damn.. I miss college.

 A guy I knew in college had a Wednesday night class (most popular mid-week party night at my school), and he invented what he called the poor man's bong. It consists of Opening 3 beers and emptying the contents into 3 glasses and setting them in the fridge before leaving for class.

After getting home, he'd simply throw back the 3 beers in about 5 minutes and then proceed to drink the night away. Quite a way to catch up...

I wonder if one were to perform this task before going into the century club... effectively shooting flat beer. Would it be easy? I really don't know how that would affect the overall experience.

Any those in undergraduate still interested in testing this? 'Rilla?

Lol.. I just meant attempting to do the Century Club w/ flat beer, in order to eliminate the bubble factor. You should under no circumstances drink any alcohol before attempting the Century Club. Not even one beer. Also I wouldn't suggest eating anything the hour+ beforehand, and don't eat anything while you're doing it. Once you succeed, you can judge for yourself what other kind of variants you want to throw in...

Also important to note, booting does not connote failure!! Making yourself puke I've always felt is pretty weak, but if you're body says "Uh-huh, back the way ya came!".. so be it. Just make sure you make up your shots once you get back. This is Inspired by my brother who was "hungry" and ate two pieces of pizza at the start his Century Club. Somewhere between shot 60-80, he ran off to the kitchen to clog the sink with vomit and like a champion, came sprinting into the living room, dove for the table and dropped down his shot just as the buzzer was going off.

 we did century club once with miller lite, I puked around 95 but made it up before 100.

Once we tried with some 5.9 percent beer and we gave up around 50 and went for a walk down the middle of the street
