K, so a sort of back story to this. I'm finishing up a HU session on Wednesday night. When I stopped, my left pinky and ring finger felt kinda numb/pins and needles. I just thought maybe they fell asleep. I wake up yesterday morning and it's even worse, but when i get up it goes away, for the most part. during the day I feel a weird pain in my elbow, but i dismiss it. Right now as I type, I feel the same sensations in my left ring and pinky fingers, while feeling nothing in my right. So, my question is, do I have carpal tunnel or the onset or whatever of it (I don't quite understand it yet, never dealt w/ it obv), and if so, wtf do i do.

the nerve cords entering your hand come in through a hole in your wrist, constant repetitive use can cause the nerves to swell and rub etc in the small hole.

I think

Carpal tunnel for the most part doesn't fill like pins and needles. Your wrist will get sore or ache. Sounds to me like your arm/hand fell asleep.

Could just be muscle strain. Carpal tunnel mainly comes from typing, not clicking of the mouse.

This could be it. Once I KNEW I had bad carpel tunnel and went to the doctor. He said it was a bad muscle strain and sent me to physical therapy for a few weeks and it then got better.

In any case, see a doctor to find out for sure.

You might have tendonitis. Do you have a "creaking" type of feeling when you move your wrist or elbow when you move them?
