Alright, this topic may or may not be kosher...

I have been living in an appt complex for about 5 months now and I have been jumping on my neighbors wireless internet. All I have to do is open up my wireless connections and hit connect and boom, im in. Anyways, lately it has been unable to connect to their wireless. It does not tell me it is password protected, it just keeps saying unable to connect to wireless network A. Anyone know of anyway I can get past this. Does this mean they smarted up and put a firewall on? Anyways, would appreciate any help as the other networks I am now using are so slow and do not allow me to play any poker w/out major lag.

Seriously Internet costs less than $20 per month and then you don't have to deal with the hassle of having it maybe get cut off.

So here's my suggestion, in picture form.

LMAO

U can always wardrive
I'm prolly the only one in my town playing cardz from my vehicle at lunch.

If you're in an apt. perhaps a pringles can antenna could help, combining all the best aspects of thrift and free internet.

Stick around the site - Ur sure to find ways to make poker pay for your internet service and many other things as well.
Of course I have bad days...
Sometimes I'll go a whole day without quads.

Find the list of wireless networks. There should be a WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) column that has YES, or NO. If it's yes then it's encrypted and you can't get on. If it's no then there is hope. IM me if you want, same SN.

Actually, "MAC Address Spoofing" is a way around it. Of course, you'd have to know a valid MAC Address to do this, and that might involve breaking-and-entering to find it, so go with mcatdog's suggestion.
