I'm putting together an inspiring playlist to put me in the right mindset when playing a sit n go. What I have so far is such:
In the air tonight (Phil Collins)
No more Mr. Nice Guy (Alice Cooper)
It aint my bitch (Metallica)
What is hip? (Tower of Power)
Everybody Wants some (Van Halen)
Cult of Personality (Living Colour)
Another one bites the dust (Queen)
I am trying to avoid cliche songs like Bad to the Bone, we will rock you (although I couldnt resist Another one bites the dust)....but looking at my list, I see nothing from this centruy (oh crap, Ive dated myself). Any suggestions?

I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman."

Well, I enjoy his entire catalog. Helps to calm me when my printer jams and tells me "PC Load Letter"

Happiness is a warm gun - The Beatles
What? So I like to shoot people... You're not perfect either.
When I play SnGs I usually listen to either nothing, or just whatever I recenlty downloaded. Right now it's The New Amsterdams latest album. Great stuff. But when nothing is playing, and I'm late in an SnG, I have a song I like to sing to myself.
Sung to the tune of "The Bicycle Song" by Queen
Bliiiind stealer
Bliiiind stealer
I like to steal your blinds sometimes
I like to steal your blinds
That's all I have, but it works.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

OK Bob (or is it Bob?) Personally I prefer the baseball-bat method, to remedy my printer troubles. In which case "Gangster's Paradise" is a must.

There is a better song with a stealing theme to it that soupie has performed on ventrillo for us, I would do it a disservice by trying to type it.

"Appetite for Destruction" is the best album to listen to while playing, hands down.
Also, you'll want to give this a listen:

I like listening to the Still album by Nine Inch Nails. Very instrumental and low key, it's great background music.

For those of you who can be emotional players (like myself) and need some kind of calkimg music, try listening to Leaving Hope by Nine Inch Nails. No singing, just a low key instrumental piece. Really relaxing, but a little depressing.
