I heard on the news on my radio yesterday that some guys broke into a school in Sweden at night and got into a classroom (seen on CCTV). But they did not steal anything, they only correctly answered an entire sheet of maths questions that was lying on the teacher's desk.
I can't find an article online about this, and it sounds hilarious so I want to find one, help!

How can they call him a "burglar" when he didn't steal anything?

This is exactly the reason why I leave my door unlocked every night. On the off chance someone sneaks in and finishes my Aero hw, it would be totally worth it.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

bur·gla·ry ( P ) Pronunciation Key (bûrgl-r)
n. pl. bur·gla·ries
The act of entering a building or other premises with the intent to commit theft.
Im guessing they are assuming that the 'burglarers' did indeed intend to commit theft, however they stumbled upon the worksheet and became intrigued, finished it, then left completely forgetting thier original intent. duh?

Fixt back. In England, the subject of mathematics is commonly referred to as "maths".

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
