So I got an HD TV (a small 15") for my desk the other day to put next to my monitors. The quality of HD owns normal TV so much is sickening. So here is the dilema I faced today.... I'm watching NFL network but the quality of the picture disappoints me so much now, i'm actually considering watching the 2006 Scripps Spelling Bee on ESPN, simply because its in HD, thoughts?

I have a 62 inch hdtv in my apartment and, unless it's something that I really want to watch (NBA playoffs on TNT), I pretty much refuse to watch anything that isn't broadcast in HD. Also, the NFL network usually broadcasts in HD, right? Except some of the old game clips weren't at the time, so when they are showing those, it's impossible for those to be in HD.
Anyway, it's impossible for those that don't have hdtv to understand this...

as for your question, seriously, who doesn't love those little nerds spelling out all those crazy words. I'd say scripps national spelling bee regardless.

once you find yourself watching hours upon hours of nature shows just because they are in HD come talk to me. If anyone needs a 20 page report about the social lives of ant's i could probably whip that out in about an hour. haha
seriously though. Anything in HD is worth watching. Until lifetime starts going in HD then i will draw the line there.

my xgf used to (and still does i think) watch lifetime moves ALL the time. I watched one with her once but we stopped after I repeatedly stabbed myself in the eye with a ballpoint pen.

I'm genuinely surprised that you don't like Lifetime movies, Lukie.

Just hanging out over here. Let's not hijack this thread though, I hate when you do that.

I also find myself watching HD programs over SD crap just because it's HD and not necessarily because I like the HD program I'm watching.
HD pwns. Can't wait 'til all programming is in HD. But that's probably another 5 or 10 years away.
