Homeless people do not existed in the very limited and pampered world i've lived in.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

One day I accidently bought one too many take away meals, so I gave the extra one to some homeless guy. He thanked me and started talking about the war, so I ran away.

Nah.

I've given subtle hints (such as in this thread) or warned the poster and everyone has kindly complied. I don't like even temp-banning people for what really is a minor thing.

I don't like heavy moderation except in the most extreme circumstances

People took a lil joke(maybe bad taste) to seriously.

And is 90% of the threads in the jungle necessary? no and points to the pecks or penis poll thread.

I give money to homeless but only if they have some talent they can persuade me with, blind saxophone player = $5

yeah no shit. You know that spot where its like a little room in the side of a building. But the wall facing wacker drive is just open. There is a door that goes into the building, but obviously the building operators dont let the homeless through this way. The wierd thing is that this is like 3 stories in the air, and about 10 ft from the road, and theres like a homless settlement in there. Also one time I was at the bottom level, where one of the chicago police impounds is, man thats a scary place to be. Outside of the impound for some reason there was a late model BMW that was completely totaled. It just felt like no mans land down there.

For those of you who dont know, wacker drive is like a multi level road in chicago, it almost feels like a science fiction movie, where you have like the utopia above, and the lower you get the grimier and seedier it gets. Parts of the Batman Begins movie where filmed there I think, some of the car chase seens I believe.

just for the record, there is no such thing as a blind street performer. Heres there test, its simple, hold out a dollar in front of him, see if he grabs it.

As far as the subject of this thread goes, I think its pretty funny, but I have a sick sense of humor. I make jokes like this, but I know Im really a good person, and its just a good laugh. When I tell these jokes its eitehr around people who understand its just a joke, or I dont give a fuck if they get it or not. I woulda thought that people at ftr would get a joke like this, esp seeing whats been posted here in the commune.

i really dont understand how this is inappropriate--this is about as inappropriate as 95 of the mysoginistic posts in the community. to criticize this post is to announce hypocrisy and denial.

I once shot a (homeless) man in Reno just to watch him die.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Is tripping a homeless person less humane than killing him? Anyway, he cracked his head open and died. The funny part is I lost my apartment later that day.

Serious Note

If you pay a panhandler, then you're a douche. That's all.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
