Jeezus...im playing a 5+1 MTT on PP, been playing since 2:45 am eastern, im in about 15 in chips with 88 people left, 1500+ started the tourny. Now it says that the tourny has been cancelled and settlements were being sent out to the remaining players...

Thats alot of money..some guy has 80k chips...1st place pays like $1500....

OK, i just got off of the phone with PP...they said that the server went down and they could not resume the tourny...how lame. %50 of the pot money will be divided equally among the remaining 80 something players, and the other %50 will be given out based on rank.

wow...

Wow. Investing all that time (close to 5 hours, correct?) and having the rug pulled out from under you... That's tough to handle, I hate it for you.

When you say the "pot money" will be divided up between the remaining playes I assume you are referring to the total payout for the tourney? I realize that seems obvious but I'm curious nonetheless.

Wow thats dumb, but it dosnt seem like there any other way to settle it. A reschedule wouldnt work because some people wouldnt be able to show up and if they refunded everyone the same amount it wouldn't be fair to the tourney leader.
