My roommate just got xbox 360 and bought gears. That's all he seems to want to play. I went ahead and bought halo3 yesterday afternoon and beat it this morning. I've played a few social slayers and I'm ok at the game so far but would love to play with anyone on FTR. Live name is rwg133 (roommate's name).

Need help. I'm trying to open NAT on my xbox. I've tried port forwarding to 3074 and 88 with tcp/udp respective, etc. I have UPNP turned on. I even tried making my xbox a dmz server. Nothing works. Oh, my router is on supported list btw, could it be my isp?

It's not your ISP. I had a similar problem as you. I was paying for wireless through my cable company and they gave me some piece of shit wireless router which wasn't compatible with XBox live. I tried all the shit you did and it didn't work so what I did was just cancel my wireless service from my cable company and bought a wireless linksys router from Best Buy and I haven't had any problems since. But if your router is on the list of compatible routers you shouldn't be having any problems obviously.

What is the deal with the ranking system? You have to win the map to get a level up? I'm getting tired of placing first on my team of crappy players and losing.

Yea, you have to win in order to level up but even if you win that doesn't guarantee that you will level up. It's a confusing ranking system.

It's stupid. I had 22 kills on a map (not a brag since it's with level 3's, I still suck) and my closest teammate had 6 kills and we lost. WTF
