My son has been trying to download the Blastacular pack. But everytime he tries the download fails. Using the xbox360 with xbox live. Anyone try to download this pack and had success? If so, wanna give suggestions?

Yes. He's tried 9 or 10 times to download it at various times of the day and night. Keeps failing the download.

Wierd, it worked fine for me the first time I tried it, not really sure what the problem would be. Does he get partway through and it quits or does it never start?

When I saw him try, he hit download now or whatever you do. The download bar comes up (filled in orange I think it was), then gets message download failed. We've called microsoft and they said to try late at night or early morning because the servers could be full. Tried that, still failed. Next step is to call Bill at home I think.

This might be a stupid question but you do have a harddrive or memory card (somewhere to save the maps) attached to the XBox right?

The premium system ($399 retail) does, then basic ($299 retail) does not.

I think we bought the premium, cant remember. It was Christmas present. Any way to tell without digging up receipt? I'm thinking we got it from Frye's.com.

Yea, the harddrive is thin and grey and is attached externally to the top of the system.

Yes, it does have the HD attached to it. I even popped it off and put it back on to make sure that was it.
