I 'm running a 1/2 marathon in Glasgow tomorrow. I have never done one of these before, so should be fun running with 20,000 others. Hoping to finish in 1hr 55, which would be pretty good for a lazy 38 year old. Wish me luck.
And if anyone is running good and feels in a charitable mood, my fundraisng page is www.justgiving.com/dsinclair. I have already reached my target but every $ helps.

GL man.
The half is a cool distance, a real acheivement without needing to kill your body.
I bet it'll be cool running in that crowd; just find your own pace and have fun.

Wow, good luck! I did the Reading half marathon in March in 2 hours. I was completely shattered before the race had even begun, I hadn't slept for 36 hours cos of working nights!
Good luck man, 2:01:something, to beat me!

I crossed the finish line in 1hr 52 mins, but it took quite a while to get started so I think I did it in about 1hr 47 mins. Everyone had a time recording chip so will get the official time tomorrow. Needless to say I was delighted with this time. Even managed a bit of a sprint at the finish. Then went and celebrated in the tradition Scottish manner. So now I need sleep real bad.
