My BS detector, for lack of a better term, just went off.

I just got an IM from CrushAlert85954. it just said hey while they were away, like so:

CrushAlert85954 (8:16:45 PM): hey
CrushAlert85954 went away at 8:16:46 PM.
LuKie StyLe 3 (8:17:02 PM): hi

No response after that.

The away message says: You received a buddy crush from someone on your buddy list! Visit revealcrush.com to reveal your crush

AIM profile says: Click Here to reveal your crush!

Of course you can't see where the link actually takes you, and I refuse to click on either one. I've never heard of anything like this on AIM. Thoughts?

www.justfuckinggoogleit.com is one of the sites u were looking for.

good try though

basically i was right in that it was complete BS, but i'd put it more along the lines of spam than a malicious hacking attempt or something similar that i was ultimately afraid of. better safe than sorry I guess.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
