So I get the following message on MySpace like yesterday or something (go to bottom for quote).
Yeah so I linked to my blog from my MySpace, and now this guy is all LOL IM FROM THE GHETTO PLZ TO FUND ME CAR SHOP.
What's my play?
Quote:
A proposition
What's up man. I'm sure you're wondering why I am contacting you, but I will get to that all in a second. First off,, let me introduce myself. My name is also Jess, and I am from the ghetto-villa of Florence, SC. Not born and raised here, but definitely feeling the environment. I am moving to the open air of Winston-Salem on the 20'th of this month to manage a store in a neighboring town. I decided I would check myspace for people near where I would be moving, around the same age to see if I could find anyone to chill with. I noticed you had the same name, and decided I would check out your profile. Now here is where it gets interesting. I see you have a rather successful gambling career. Mad props to you man. I tried the whole internet gambling/party poker frenzy about 2 years ago and failed miserably. Mostly bad beats, including one instance where I had 4 8's and got beaten by 4 9's. Too bad I hadn't been on the bad beat jackpot table. I would have won 800 g's. Anyways, here's my problem. I have been slugging away at my old job for three years now. Part owner/manager of a Sonic Drive-In here in flo-town. I'm selling out my ownership here and moving to NC to manage a sonic up there. Don't get me wrong, it pays the bills. I netted $114,000 last year working about 25 hours a week. BUT...I hate the job. I don't like having a boss, and I don't like working my butt off to make other people rich. So in about two years time, I plan on opening my own business. Non-restuarant related. I want to open up an auto shop...but not a repair shop. I plan on doing everything from custom stereo work to hot rod building, kit car building, custom fiberglass, custom paint, import tuning, the whole nine yards. But I can't do it all myself. Nor can I finance it based solely on my job within a two year time span. I have a stay at home wife and four children to feed, so it's a little expensive to live at the moment. Perhaps with two people playing poker, those two people could make enough money to open a business together, while continuing to back it with poker funds. Business requires capitol...and a good, well established business requires a tremendous amount of capitol. I would like to open this shop with three cars fully built all ready for sale when the shop opens. A 600+ HP import, an 800+ HP muscle car, and a 160db Sound off competition car. Not to mention the two owners would have to drive fully built show cars just as an advertisement. I like to think of that as a perk...hehehe. But look, this isn't a business proposition, nor am I asking you to jump in and throw down a chunk of money. I would like to meet you though sometime when I get up there. See if we share similar interests. Cuz I plan on enjoying the rest of my life doing what I enjoy doing. Not flipping burgers for the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong, you're making a shitpot of money doing what you do, but even that has got to get boring after a while.

Edit: LOL OMFG PICS

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I checked his profile and some other things and the dude is actually legit, ie a real dude and works at Sonic and whatnot.
Obviously I'm not replying, but just saying.

Btw boost asked if this was a level, and I showed him that this is, in fact, real.

Tell him you're an environmentalist and don't want to contribute to the 'souping up' of vehicles.
|

Girlfriend: Why are the werewolves more important than living life?!
Girlfriend: Are you on the forums doing the werewolves again?
Girlfriend: Soo... you forgot to run that errand, but you had time to werewolf? Wtf?
