dont know if any of you play on steam's source engine, but this independent company is developing goldeneye (and another is developing perfect dark) as a source mod.

the company just released goldeneye: source as an alpa (meaning theres jack shit to do but go around mindlessly killing people, no objectives or anything) but its so cool considering that this will soon be a real game.

its a free download: http://www.goldeneyesource.com/

i cannot WAIT for this to be completed .

I spent more time on goldeneye than any 1st person single player shooter by far. Counterstrike has most overall hours im sure but single player usually gets boring a lot faster. Beating all the levels on 007 took awhile.

If goldeneye is made for the net, with the same characteristics it will be THE best game ever, maybe with the exception of multi player bomberman which isalos awesome.
Goldenye would pwn counterstrike every which way, just better hope it lives upto the N64 version
