If everyone on the Spurs stay healthy:
Spurs in 5, 6 if the Pistons get lucky.

Pistons are such a complete team that they are always doin good. The Pistons bench could beat the Spurs (Ok that was flat out cocky and untrue)

I think that the spurs are too good of a team to lose to the Pistons, Tony Parker will have big games against Chauncey Billups, and Duncan is gonna step up. Spurs are takin it

I would be more into the Pistons if they had beat a healthy Dwayne Wade. I think in the back of my mind that if he's healthy the Heat win. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a hater by any means. I rooted for the Pistons last year. And will do so again this year.

I gotta root for Pistons b/c they are my home team but I think Dwane Wade being unhealthy did help their win. Heres the thing, if DW is healthy and they play like they did last night the heat win. If Pistons play their best then the Pistons still win no matter what Wade does.

Its amazing how little respect the Pistons still get. They completely own the All-Star team the Lakers had in the finals last year, beat the Pacers (in their prime, with Artest) and the Nets (conference rivals, with Jefferson and K-Mart) last year as well, and then beat the Heat this year, and some people / the press are still making it out like the Spurs are big favorites?
Sure, the Wade injury certainly helped the Pistons, but it was pretty obvious when he was healthy that that the Pistons and Heat were very evenly matched.
I was watching ESPN after the game 7 win over the heat, and I was shocked at some of the stuff they were saying. The Spurs must be really happy that they're playing the Pistons instead of the Heat, the Spurs are going to win, the Spurs could be considered a dynasty in todays age if they win this series with 3 championships in the past 7 years, etc. It all must be great motivation for the Pistons, that they still seem to be considered a 2nd tier team in the league after winning the championship and making it to the finals the next year. All because what, they don't have an offensive superstar?
It'll be a good series for sure, though. I predict the Pistons in 6, possibly 7. If the Pistons can contain Shaq two years in a row, I'm sure they can handle Duncan as well. There's no way this series goes less than 6 games, and I can't see the Pistons losing game 6 at home, so it all comes down to the first 5 games. If the Spurs are up 3-2 it'll go to game 7, and if the Pistons are up 3-2, they'll probably close it out at home. If the Spurs are to win, it'll surely be a 7 game series.

GO PISTONS!
Seriously, in a game so bloody star struck, it's great watching a group of pretty good to great players beat the piss out of super-star centric teams. I enjoy watching great teams like the Pistons and Patriots clean up.
