Roffle.
I can just see someone telling their employer, "I'm giving up my job for lent, you will, of course, have to continue to pay me, and for religious reasons you cannot fire me either. See you soon!"

Why would you want to do it?
Are you religious????
|

The strong point in poker is never to lose your temper, either with those you are playing with or, more particularly, with the cards. There is no sympathy in poker. Always keep cool. If you lose your head you will lose all your chips.

I love how drunk is the only word you seriously mispelled. You are clearly not very drunk but trying to give off the impression that you are. Have a few more (like 20) shots and then we're in business.

Day 5 , I actually decided to give it a go, not that anyone probably gives a shit- but that's ok. Actually I figure a break might actually be good for me. I will continue to study, and learn, from posts here and the books I have. I decided I was playing way too much, and it was affecting my relationship (especially when I played a live session that ended up going like 11 hours, without warning my fiance- she was, needless to say, pissed off) When I resume playing, will be be on a much more limited basis ( like 1 day a week). I love playing poker alot, but I don't love it more than my fiance, and if I kept playing like I was, that was in serious jeopardy. I figure I can still continue to play and learn 1 day a week, just wont be as fast, thats all- for what it's worth........
