the canadian team didn't seem all that good this year. there were no dominant players, especially in the forward positions. Doughty was good, Tavares was pretty good when he played, but overall the team seemed pretty mediocre.
maybe I am just so used to the team being so far ahead of the opposition though. I guess you can't have a 16 yr old phenom every year. or a 17 yr old completely dominate the tourney.

The gold medal game could have gone either way this year, esp since the Swedes handed us our only loss of the tourney. They def had me worried when they tied it up at the end of the 3rd. Nevertheless, nothing like a four-peat...

I almost crapped myself when they tied it up, then I remembered how much ass Canada kicks, especially in hockey.

Ya, I love the World Juniors. I remember when the NHL was in the lock out and I was watching junior hockey a lot, thinking the whole time 'wow, the nhl isn't even that great'.
The international reffing can get a bit annoying though.

Yeah, good game.
Sweden were definately better than Canada parts of 2nd and 3rd period for sure, and the win could really go either way there IMO - shitty defending on the goal though :P Real Canadian style though.
Was great to finish 2nd with a team that was expected 4th-5th anyway 
And regarding Canada being better in hockey, period. I remember the last Olympics hm, hm, hm,..  And the WC, same year
