RIP dude, you were fucking hilarious.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done'."
"I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death."
"I think it's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."
Damn.

George, a great mind, had grown dark and deep in his later days, but I saw him in person and in concert about 4-5 years ago at the MGM grand, I was sitting third row, early for the show, drinking beforehand with my brother, he came out and talked with us a few minutes before the true show started, then disappeared backstage, gave the best comedy show I'd seen. He spoke directly to us a couple of times during the show, standing near our seats (just to the left of center stage) and looking right at us...
His views on the world are spot on, his commentary points out the lunacy that is the human being...
George, we will miss you...

I can't believe I was reading his latest book just yesterday. So weird.
This guy was probably one of the only stand-up comedians I've actually liked.

"7 words you can never say on television" is one of the greatest comedic skits of all time imo.

The stuff I love best is the stupidity of the human race... ie- You drive on a parkway and park on a driveway... that kind of stuff... just hilarious. And the 7 words... he has a lot of material that is awesome... I seem to remember him ripping on gallagher too.

It's funny because I think George Carlin would laugh at the idea of resting in peace.

Cutting down on how many kids we have is a good idea imo. VHEMT is just too extreme.
