Cryptologic took a hit today, but they say they've been preparing for this for the past number of years and 70% of their revenue come from outside the US. They're also moving their head office from Toronto to Ireland. I think they're a buy.

Thoughts on others?

Also, what US gaming stocks stand to benefit?

Would it be better to buy stocks now or wait a while? I have no experience at all with these things.

There's no easy answer. Typically, it takes a couple of days for the markets to react to bad news fully.

Buying today could be a good idea, because markets are great at overreacting to unexpected news, both good and bad. But the question is one of timing. Are stocks going to hit rock-bottom today? Tomorrow? IMO, it's unlikely it will be any later. You want to know when institutional investors are jumping back onto these stocks. If you have a broker, they can probably help you with this. If you have an online account I think the best you can do is track the real-time info and watch for when LARGE buy orders start taking longer and longer to be fulfilled. This should correlate with price stabilization. I'm a relative investing noob, so take this advice with a shaker of salt.

I've been buying up cryp like crazy. I bought when they dropped 15% on news they were moving to Ireland, and I bought again just now down another 17%.

I have over 25% of my portfolio in CRYP now, lol.

Edit: Neteller recommendation scratched. It's on OTC (Over-The-Counter) stock, which means it's got limited liquidity and less stringent regulatory requirements to meet. Stick with stocks traded on major exchanges.

NLR looks pretty cheap, but its hard for me to buy stocks on the LSE.

I like Cryptologic because of their focus outside of the U.S. and their financial strength. Their dividend yield is over 2% now, they have no debt, and over $9 in cash per share.

After buying lunch today, I have about $12.50 left. Which stocks should I invest in? Can I reasonably expect to turn this into fifteen bucks over the next few months?

So whats the verdict on the best stocks to buy? I have about $1000 i could potentially invest. Is that ammount even worth investing and which of these would you recommend? I was looking at neteller, but being in the u.s., how easy is it to buy stocks in the LSE?. Also the Crypt stock is around $17 right now, so i wouldnt be able to purchase many shares. Any thoughts?

It's like half the investors in the online gambling market went on tilt as a result of this bad beat (the bad beat known as H.R. 4954), and those that didn't go on tilt are reaping the rewards.

Not unless you bought PartyGaming at 94p and are now sitting on a 55% loss . Oh well, 3000 pounds down the drain.

The more the bad news about online gaming.. The lower the price of the stock... Buy Buy Buy...

Still room for a lot of profit without the U.S. , Could you imagine if they merged with someone once they went public?

Here is my only stock tip I will give..

NRPH... Bought it up as a IPO ... Tripled .. sold... I bought at 7.00 a share... The stock ended at 43.00 when they split.. And its already climbing again..

I like scottrade, $7 limits orders.

If I didn't already so much of my portfolio in cryp, I would buy more. It is getting insanely cheap. It wasn't hurt like Party and the others, as only 30% of their revenue was from U.S.

dsmrolla06, the amount of shares you buy is arbitrary, it isabout how much money you invest.
