very cool, and one of the few optical illusions that actually seem to work for me.
question: how much do the instructions "Stare at the black cross until the pink dots disappear." play into this? Like if you just look at the picture, most people will naturally stare at the black '+' anyway. Do the instructions tell your mind to make them disappear, or does it just happen naturally?

And now when I look away to get some work done I see pink dots where there ain't none.
