That's great! Congrats, you guys!
Good to see some FTR regulars taking the top places, instead of some unknown freetrollers.

Congrats, and agreed X.
I noticed quite a few folks with 1 - 5 posts that just want in on the freeroll, any way to prevent that? Post requirement, length of membership requirement?

On the flip side, you get people like me, a regular FTR poster that would like to participate in FTR free rolls, but I never do because I never think to check the free roll forum. (In fact, I didn't even know the free roll forum existed until I had already had been a member for over a year and had a post count of more than 500).

He probly should have won. He had a bigger stack than me almost the whole tourney, and i was shortstacked up until about the 200 bb. I never would have thought i could have made the final table at that point.

HAHAHAHA...true true true.
I was actually playing really well last night and had a big stack early...felt the mojo...got KQ suited and raised...got one or two calls...flop came junk, Q, Q...I check and another guy bet 120...I raised to 240...I had him covered...he pushed...I called he had Q8..river? 8
I went on triple double tilt.
I had enough chips that if I'd stuck to my original strategy I might have made another run but that's not in my donkavision

I had 80k 4 handed and open pushed my SB with QJo.
A fish who had been claiming to be sooooo good the whole time calls my all in with a 25k stack with K6o. Blinds were 1-2k. Pretty sure I hate his play but Im not gonna analyze. That knocked us all down to even.
From then on rolla picked up aces like 17 times and it was GG.
In all seriousness, you could tell his background was in tourneys and mine was not, I felt severely outplayed.

Heres a funny hand
Absolute Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t200/t400
(Ante: t50)
6 players
Converter
Stack sizes:
UTG: t5979
UTG+1: t4250
CO: t6315
Button: t3465
SB: t11500
Hero: t11015
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A 7
3 folds, Button raises to t1200, SB folds, Hero raises to t4000, Button calls all-in t2215.
Uncalled bets: t585 returned to Hero.
Button says "Ship It" just as he calls and flips over QQ. Watch as irony pursues.

Turn: 5 (t7330, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t7330)
River: 9 (t7330, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t7330)
Results:
Final pot: t7330
Button Shows Qc Qh
Hero Shows Ah 7h
