I was going to do this with just my buds but I thought it would be fitting to announce a FTR Poker Cruise Party! Or something of that nature!

I found this ad on Craigslist the other day and requested information, it sounds pretty fun and was just wondering if you guys would think it would be a good idea to get together, and go to this for the labor day cruise so we can play against each other live and have fun!

Here are the details, please let me know if you are interested maybe we can get a group rate discount?

We have the following Dates Available

4 Day Poker Cruise August 31 - Sept 4, 2006 Labor Day

5 Day Poker Cruise September 4 - September 9, 2006

7 Day Poker Cruise September 10 - September 17, 2006
================================================== ==============================

WHAT IS A POKER CRUISE?
A poker cruise is a regular cruise with the exception of a separate area where poker tables and dealers will be placed for private tournaments and cash games. All regular cruise activities are not changed. You're whole family will have the time of their lives.

Plenty of tournaments and cash games.

Daily Multi Table Holdem Tournaments

Daily No Limit & Pot Limit Cash Games
$.50/$1 - $1/$2 - $2/$5 - $5/$10

Daily Limit Cash Games
$2/$4 - $3/$6/$12 - $5/$10 - $10/$20
================================================== =============================

With over 200 players expected to attend each event, we have reserved a large ball room, with enough space to hold 10-12 professional poker tables, and all
of our guests comfortably. We will provide a professional dealer for each table.

* Daily Scheduled No Limit Holdem Tournaments.
* 24hr Cash Games - You Pick the Games and Limits!
* PlayersCruise Championship Freeroll - Win a Cruise!!
* Free Instructional Seminars.
* Catered Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, Right to Your Table!
* Heavily Padded Arm Chairs for those Long Sessions.
* Professional Game Hosts Monitoring all Activities.

DavSimon is an unknown quantity at this point
Soupie, ScGolfer, DigitalDoc and myself...along with our families went on a Card Player Cruise to Alaska and is was one of the best experiences of my life. However if your intention is to play alot of poker for money then there are MUCH easier games to be had in Vegas. If you want to have a good time with friends, eat some incredible food and play some cards while doing it - go for it your will not be disappointed.

That's exactly why I want to go just to have some fun, be out on the water, for the experience.
