What?!?! We can get our own playing cards! This sounds like a great offer. How can I learn more?
OK here's the scoop. I've been looking deeper into this. This looks possible. And depending on the demand, I could back this and offer the cards.
Gemaco is a good brand of playing card. They are set up to offer custom designs. If I could get permission to use the FTR logo, and if I could find a big enough interest, I may be able to offer to sell any interested person a custom FTR deck of cards.
So can I get permission to make and sell these cards?
I would be selling these cards for little to no profit, but they will still cost about $5-$7 +S&H per deck. Will we have a big enough demand that I can order 50 decks? 250 decks?

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Well, I've been looking to do something frivolous with my expanding bankroll and I think buying 250 decks and bathing in FTR playing cards might be right up my ally! I may even buy an extra 50 so as I walk down the street I can throw them at random strangers declaring "52 card pickup, mudda fuggas!" and run.
Oh yah, that was completely worth the time it took to put that in print.

Humpy:
I work for a promotional company and might be able to get some good costs on tshirts, mugs, and other promo items. If of course I get the ok to look at the resources.

I think the Admins are good on the promotional items. They have cafepress taking care of that. You would have to talk to them about switching sources.
But there has been talk of more poker related stuff. Cards, chips, felt, etc. I found a way that we can do the cards. But I wanted to find out if people would buy them before I considered ordering them.

I dig. 2-3 decks probably.

I am not trying to defer them from other business or anything. I was jw if you needed a second price on anything. I wont ask to switch companies cause thats a hassle.

Hey Hump,
This is a great offer and we appreciate your help and enthusiasm. But at this time, I don't think we are prepared to sign off on anything quite yet. The Xianti and Eric took a trip to Vegas this weekend to meet w/ a fullfilment and distribution company. We are looking at vastly expanding our FTR merchandise - and cards may already be covered in some of these longer term plans.
Give us a couple of days, I'll have Xianti and Eric get back to you.

I think we should get some fish bait with the FTR logo on it. I'd buy those worms!
