I rented a new ventrilo server if people are interested. It would be occupied by Flopturnriver members exclusively. There seem to be many other voice programs people are running, just wanted to throw, what in my opinion, is the best program. Same operation as before use this info...

There is no password on the server, and I will be assigning people to be administrators....

People need to get in the vent server, Mike was trying to set this up, and I am only trying to facilitate the cause  ... So go, talk it up, how much cooler is talking than typing anyways?
 And can this topic possibly get bumped to hang out with the IRC topic?

Is anyone going to be actually using this ventrilo server? I was first told by Mike that there would be several users talking on ventrilo, especially since the channel was getting a bit cluttered at times. Come talk guys!

Almost every night Xianti, there is not a huge user base yet but a couple new faces join a week. We generally have a good time and Soupie endlessly pontificating hasn't run anyone off yet......

Well bitch ass Missy banned me today because get this - someone comes into the poker chat that no one even knows and goes "hey dude BOONDOCK SAINTS ROCKS I HEARD YOU WERE A FAG IS THAT TRU" - me "well who told im just curious" and he "I BUNCH OF DUDES I DONT REMEMBER WHAT THEIR NAMES WERE" and me "YEAH DUDE IM SO GAY LET ME LICK YOUR BIZALLS" him "DUDE IM GONNA SHOOT YOU BETWEEN THE EYES" then he leaves -
Well then I tell Scgolfer who was the only other poker player in there - man too bad soupie or rada wasnt here so he could ban him from the channel
well Missy hadnt left yet
She comes and says this is my server no one has banning power except for me and if they do im gonna ban them cause they shouldnt. And I said ok and basically that was about the end of it and she changes channels then I get kicked and banned.

So whoever started this thread do u have admin powers over there or know this Missy bitch or can u unban me.

Well, I have no idea what happened... I'm on break, and do not have access to ventrilo from my home computer. I'll take a look at it when I get back if it still necessary. I appologize for her actions, she owns the vent, and she can be pretty stupid some times..... In other news, can I get your number boondock?

My Ventrilo vs PalTalk poll showed that the overwhelming majority of you meet on Ventrilo versus PalTalk (or Skype), so I've unstickied the PalTalk topic.
Is this FTR-only Ventrilo server set up? You guys using this now? If so, iwa, could you edit your first post at top here with the new server/login info?

I will answer, although I'm sure IWA is more than capable. Yes the new Ventrillo server is FTR only and here are the new login details:
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php - here is the dowload for the program... download the v2.2. If you have windows dl the windows one... etc.
After installing the program.. You will need to set it up
1) Make a username by clicking the username tab and then the new button
2) Change the server that you want to connect to. When making this choose a name and fill in the following information -
IP: rage.typefrag.com
PORT: 8628
3) Set up your mic, click setup and click play hot keys box. You can change the button you have to push to transmit button in the box below. After this is set-up, you will be good to go!

Ventrillo server change.....due to the connection issues on the SanFancisco server we have moved it to Dallas

The port number is the same as are all of the passwords
