Post subject: FTR Fantasy Football League! (UPDATED WITH POLL)

I am going to set up a Fantasy Football league for FTR if there is interest. The league will be at Yahoo Games, as they offer, by far, the best free leagues on the net.
If there is interest I will set one up, within a week. It will be a live draft, so I will need to find a time that everyone will be able to make it. It will probably be early or late, so our friends over the pond can join in. I'm not sure on league size, but it will be at LEAST 10 players.
Post here if you want to play and what draft times are good.
UPDATE: We will be playing at EA Sports realgenius was kind enough to donate the league he got over there for free. This is over a 100$ gift. We will be setting it up as soon as we have time and date. We will cap teams at 14. This is so people aren't stuck with backup-backup running backs, but not everyone has all the best players in the league.

At Yahoo you can rank your players so it will auto draft you if you can't make it.

I'm totally in for Fantasy Football. I do think some money should be involved though, even if it's $5-$10. Maybe FTR can throw in some swank gear for prizes too. While I would love to have a live draft it's very hard to get that many people together and it can alienate people. If you take the time to rank your players predraft, you can do alright for yourself.

DETAILS -
Draft will be MID AUGUST. This will aloow enoug time for trading, but also allow you to assess players during camp.
People who are interested - I need to know likely times you could draft. I am thinking Weekday Evening. This will allow people who work to still be there. I will make the league in a few days, and those who can/want to play can. If you won't be able to make the draft but are ok with auto, then you are more then welcome.

Doggz I will help you organize this, i could set up a party account to take the transfers of money. Since they allow smal fee transfers. At party skins its a min of 50.
I say we get 10 guys at 10 bucks a peice. You are not going broke. Winner takes all?

Like I said, it'll just be a bother getting all the money together and it's of an ammount that doesnt even entertain me. So just do away with the whole thing.
We'll just have to figure something else out to keep people active late. But if you have a last place team 7 weeks into the season, you're gonna stop with 5 bucks on the line or not. I think we just have to live with it.

Good Point 'rillla. You get teams like that in every league though. If you're gonna have the draft on a wednesday, make it post Gauntlet, unless the Gauntlet will be over by then, not sure.

Any saturday would be good, hopefully late July, better early August so we can get a feel for what the actual NFL rosters will look like, and we can avoid drafting people who get injured early on in training camp. So I vote for any Saturday evening.

Another suggestion, is using EA SPorts fanatsy football, it's usually a pay service, but I can have a free league due to my reserving Madden 2006. I played in a EA league last year and it was very cool. The stats and everything it kept for the league were sweet, and you can actually watch your team's scoring LIVE. I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder, just letting you know it's an option.
