Hey guys, did you know we had our first FTR333 Tourney at Bodog on June 3rd - a $3 buy NLHE event with a $300 money-add, and only 5 people played!?!? Do you know how incredible those odds are to take home some money very easily?!? I'm pretty sure you could've post and folded the entire tourney and made some decent cash. We're doing it again next month on the 3rd... will more than 5 people take us up on it?

And TOMORROW - we're having our first FTR500 Tourney at Full Tilt - $5 buy-in, $500 MONEY ADD, on the 5th of each month!!! Maybe there'll only be 1 player for that - me - so I shouldn't even post this.

Visit our Announcements Forum to see what's going on at FTR. Check out our Calendar of events to see what's going on. Or pass up on tons of free money that FTR is giving away THIS MONTH.

$5 event has 5 people in it. Equals $25 in prize money.

Site adds $300 to the event, so there are now $325 in prize money......or at least $300 total, depending on how the sites do it.

We are ADDING $500 to the prize pool. So even if only 2 people enter, with a buy-in of $5 (a prize pool of $10), we're still adding $500 to that, so the total prize pool will be for $510.

See? Free money.

These are great but sadly no good for EU players as they start 3 or 4 in the morning depending on where you are.

Kevster on the money. Tyson, is the late start time because that's the only time FT allows private tourneys? or could you have it earlier/on a weekend so the sizeable minority of your members from Europe can participate?

i don't feel too bad for the european players - you all still have every site available to play on and its easy to get money in and out - its almost as if you have a money added tourney and cash game every single day you log on, just cause you have so many more choices -

im just playin - this is a bit better for us in the states, time wise...

Yeah, I hear you and we'll do a Euro friendly time on these. For a weekday in the states, 7:00pm PT = 10:00 ET = most of the US can play at this time during the week. Full Tilt is one of the few US friendly sites.

So, looks like we'd want to do a weekend event to get our European players on board... something like we JUST DID on June 3rd with our $300 money added at Bodog?!?...where we had 5 players show up? Is that what you mean? (LOL)

Why not instead of adding money to tournaments a lot of regular posters dont play in we instead put the money elsewhere? (Just a suggestion).
Check out the new blog!!!

Clearly a fair point. This post brought these tourneys to my attention more though and I'll be keeping a closer eye on them in future.

I know this is irrational, but I am a member of 11 poker sites at the moment, not including Bodog, and the thought of adding another fills me with ennui!
