It's almost that time of year and I was wondering if there were any plans for an FTR fantasy football league this year? Time permitting, I should be able to set up a league if anyone is interested. Granted I've never ran a league before, so I might not be the best person for the job. Post here if you're up for some FF.

Oh BTW, I'm the ultimate choker when it comes to FF. I've only played in three leagues, but finished with the best record in all three, made it to the finals in all three and then proceeded to not show up for the finals to go 0/3. Variance?

i think there was an FTR league last year which I signed up for and never updated. I like to think I won the whole thing, but I'm kinda fuzzy on the details.
I'd be up for an 8 person league of frequent posters. That could be real fun.

You're more than welcome to use the forums to organize a league with an entry fee. In past years more than one league has been organized in the forums. However, ftr is not responsible for leagues with entry fees.

points for receptions is a must, IMO - in fact, im down for lots of scoring categories and lots of points....like 10yards per point is nice - Individual D guys are cool also, but it requires a lot more knowledge....
anyone tried ESPN fantasy? I have always been on yahoo, and its fine, but I heard ESPN has a good free one also...

Ok, I had a few minutes so I set up a league quickly, it's on yahoo and it's called FTR FF League(very original). I'll pm the p/w to everyone so you can have a look at the settings, then we can discuss what needs to be changed if anything.
