K, just a heads up
In the past 2 years I've done 2 free credit reports online from 2 different sites, what I've come to find, however, is they aren't exactly free. I was just looking over some past CC bills (which I never do, shame on me I know) and I have 2 erroneous chargers every month for 11.95 and 12.95.
WTF right?
Come to find out the fine print says they will bill you monthly if you don't cancel after 30 days. I've looked back over the stuff, it's hard to find. Anyways, I'm out at least $75 but that's only cuz I cannot find statements more than 3 months old online, so I'm gonna go back and look at my paper statements. Oooooh, just called freecreditreport.com, it's been a fucking year of $13 charges YAY ME.
FWIW the charges look like this:
CIC*Triple Advantage 877-481-6825 CA $12.95
MNI*CREDITRPT SERVICES 866-365-8654 CA $11.95
So I made a new song

annualcreditreport.com ftw!
its the "official" site to get your free credit reports from the big 3.
You still have to pay if you want to see your scores, but you can see the items listed on your report for free.
Don't trust any other "free" credit report site. They are always getting paid somehow.

They don't check your credit every time you get charged do they? Because anytime your credit profile gets opened by someone you get a ding against you on your credit record.

same thing happened to me 2 months ago, but they were charging me two payments of 29.99$/month. Piece of shits, thats 120$ in the shithole b/c of my dumbness/lazyness
