In honor of Illfavor's thread, I thought I'd make this one.
What was your first alcoholic beverage? How old were you, where did you drink it, what do you drink now, etc? Stories would be awesome to hear.
My first alcoholic beverage was when I was in 8th grade. I had some good buddies that I knew had started drinking with me never being around when they did. I knew that at some point I was going to be around when the beers were flowing. I was in the mindset of, "fck that, I'm not going to let anyone peer pressure me into drinking, I'm going to do this on my own before I'm in that situation." So I stole a Miller Lite from my dad's fridge in the garage. I cracked it open and had a few sips. I though it was so disgustingly terrible that I poured it into the toilet, flushed it, and vowed that I would never drink again.
Two years later when I was 15, I was at a party and drank Jack Daniels Fruit Punch, all four bottles, and got fuuuuucked up. Moved on from there to beer. Natural Ice (higher alcohol content), Keystone Light and Natural Light (cheap), and now Miller Lite. Almost fifteen years later I am basically a professional drinker (although I don't drink the professional stuff). Miller Lite and/or vodka and mixers are my favorites now.

Dec. 31 1999 my siblings talked me into taking shots 'cause, as they so brilliantly pointed out, "how many times are you gonna get to celebrate millenium?" well i ended up taking a shot like every time one of their friends came to show off.
i woke up the sickest i've ever been in a puddle of puke wondering who puked in my bed.

Don't remember first. But I do have stories. Not a stories thread though so I'll keep em short
- Once didn't eat anything for 3 days, then downed approximately 5 double shot screwdrivers then hugged the toilet for the rest of evening
- Once fasted on nothing but water and liquor for 17 days. Mainly vodka and schnapps
Currently, I tend to shy away from beer but there are some really obscure ones out there that are delicious, usually when at a restaurant I just default Rusty Nail, but I like pretty much every kind of hard liquor or cocktail imaginable; I went through a period of time where I never drank, but during that time I LOVED the smell and taste of liquor. Worst things I've had are whiskey/milk and scotch/orange soda, but they were still good.

Wine, my parents let me have wine every christmas starting when I was 12.
The first beverage i had in a party atmosphere? Mikes Hard Lemonade.
the first beverage I had at the ripe age of 21? A white russian.
My first blackout? 22 years of age, drinking straight vodka, from a bottle, on my b-day.

Not much of a drinking story, I'm afraid
Not quite sure I want to go into details. Between the ages of 14-21 I was horribly depressed, and when coupling this with coming from a highly superstitious family, you'll get some weird shit. Essentially, I was hopeless, had a death wish, but couldn't bring myself to jump off a cliff. I was drawn in by East Asian mythology, and felt like the only possible way to escape from my hell was through ascetic enlightenment.
This led me to do many things, one of which was fasting, another was heavy drinking. I fasted numerous times for 7-10 days, and the longest time was when I supplemented with alcohol, which was the 17 days I mentioned. The 17 day period was spent having ran away from home, sleeping on a friend's couch, drinking all the booze he bought me while playing Halo and Morrowind all day. Not what I would call a high point in my life.
I honestly don't remember a whole lot from that time. I'm 26 now, and in a dramatically different place in life, and the turmoil I went through is something I never want to experience again, and was all a different life really. I mean it was so bad. I did things like trash nearly everything I owned in fits of agony, or punch myself until I could no longer stand it. Those were the pretty tame stuff too, not going to say what the worst of it was
Not really that interesting of a drinking story really. Not even comparable to my most awesome story involving black out smashing into a buffet table at a company party. This was pretty much the most awesome thing I've ever done

My first experience drinking was when I was 17 at a New Years house party.
Screwdrivers.
Ended up sitting in the bathtub. Puked everywhere in the tub. Washed it and myself with the shower head. Had to take my clothes off or they would get wet. Then I was getting hungry so my friend brought me bread. Then I started yelling at the drain because apparently it was its fault for making me feel this way. Get the visual yet?
A few hours later I'm lying on my friends couch in his bedroom with my ex girlfriend. My girlfriend at the time happens to be sitting on his bed with him. Before this night, he tells me he thinks she's hot. I do not know she is in the room, so I yell at him: "Go and fuck around with what's her face! I don't give a shit maaaaan hahaha."

Shit I'm turning this into a stories thread.
One time, we were playing hacky, and the hacky fell into the toilet. Everybody was then grossed out and didn't wanna play hacky anymore. Being the baller that I am, I said I'll lick the hacky if they would still play; they agreed. So I grabbed the hacky out of the toilet, licked it, and we kept playing
A few minutes later some douche bag wearing a man thong showed up.

I was the only one of my friends who had a car and drivers license, so ofc I was driving while we went out that night (rocky horror picture show ftw) and wasn't drinking until we got back to my house. Our hookup for booze was one of those big brother of a friend of a friend things. He bought us 3 bottles of mad dog, two flavors I dont remember, and the nasty blue shit. (not that it wasn't all nasty I'm sure).
The reason I don't remember the other flavors is that by the time we got back to my place my friends had drank the two other bottles and passed out within 10 mins of getting back. (around 4am or so)
I was pretty pissed because I had been looking forward to getting drunk finally, and I was the only one awake and only had the nasty blue shit.
I decided "forget those dudes, I'm getting drunk anyways" so I drank until plastered, which ended up being most of the bottle
8:30am rolls around, I get woken up by a freaked out friend who just now mentions he wasn't supposed to go out last night and is gonna get the shit beat of of him if he can't sneak back into his house by 9 or so.
Being the pushover I was I drove him home, still drunk out of my mind. This was, at that point, the most terrifying experience of my life and I'm still not quite sure how I made it back home in one piece.

3 cans of this shit in a field about 10 mins up the road from where I grew up. There was about 8 of us together and it was the first time drinking for everyone. All about 13/14 or so. I remember we had to wait around the shop for aaaages until somebody irresponsible enough to buy us drink came past. It was only a fiver for six cans back then. Good times.

started at 13, first beer was gross. probably took me an hour to drink the bottle. First party from a guy at school at 14 there was some harder liquor (strorum 80/whiskey/vodka/rum etc.) Everyone got wasted, so sick next day obv. That never again feeling...
Anyway when I was 14-15 we could get into bars (min. age is 16 officially but they never checked really, seems to be way easier then nowadays over here). So basically from 15-22y I was in a bar friday night, club saturday night untill I met my gf.
Vacations were the best. We'd go with 8-10 guys to Spain (Calella) twice, Greece (Chersonissos) twice, Portugal (Albufeira) once to party and drink every day. Those days were awesome
Nowadays only go out with my mates from football after a match sometimes, when we go watch the game at a pub or when its someones birthday. I'm 28 now

warm miller lite, wow it was bad.
first time I got drunk was at a party senior year, vodka and strawberry punch. The guy having the party had an amazingly hot older sister and when the punch was gone she was dipping her finger around the side of the bowl (IIRC to get the strawberry seeds or something) and boy it was awesome.

First alcohol was wine with the family. First drunk was Myers white rum (straight up out of a mickey) before a Gr9 school dance. Found a booze review that brought back memories:

I was like 13 and I found a 6 pack of Genny Ice in the snow that some kids had prob hidden. Was terrible.
Stole friends parents Vodka and random liquors, poured water back in lol.
Then my older brother had a party, I am still 13 and he got me a 6 pack of Cider Jacks which I chased with Ritz crackers. I don't think they make it anymore. Fun times.

First alcohol I can remember was a sip of my dads beer when I was prolly around 7.
First drinking experience was easter of 96, I was 13. A friend had some whiskey and some moonshine, don't remember what we used for mixer but probably orange juice or coke.

First drink I had that wasn't a sip when I was a kid was vodka, the super super cheap crap you get at CVS for like 8 bucks for 1.75L when I was 14.
About 2 weeks later when me and my friend take another crack at this huge bottle he has (along with a 750ML of jack daniels) he gets alcohol poisoning and ends up in the ER with puke all over my parents house (including the 60 inch big screen TV). He wanted to play this game where I'd ask him stupid questions that he could easily answer, and after he answered each one he would take a large swig from the bottle. The point was to see how much he could drink until he could no longer answer questions. He probably did about 10 shots in less than 30 minutes and he was already moderatly drunk when he started. He woke up in the hospital the next day having no recollection at all how or why he was in there. I still have no idea how he stomached it for as long as he did.

whatever was in my dads liquor cabinet/bar....it was a huge kidney shaped bar in the dinning room., and it had all sorts of alcohol. so one night my best friend was gonna stay the night, and mom and dad went out, this our first time home alone. we were 15 or 16 , i dont remember how long after they left, but i'm sure it wasnt long before we were into the bar. i had this ginormous mug, and we went to town on it.
we were putting every bottle that we saw in there in that mug. along of course with some oj, only cuz i saw dad do it , so i did it too.then a while later i was feeling really good, we decided to make a cape and run around town acting like superman. as we were doing this,we were screaming our lungs out to the tune of supermans theme song....goin around the neighborhood....with our arms in the air drinking outa this huge mug...with capes pinned to ourselves with clothespins.....finally he gets bored with that so we go back home...
we walk in the house...oops..wrong house..wrong street....wtf? we have no idea where we are....so we book outa the house with this lady yelling at us that she's gonna call the cops!!...we finally find my house ...and go back to the bar,make another drink..i think was number 3? im not to sure. anyhow the next thing i remember is my mom waking me up,im in bed on the top bunk, with my head hanging over the side. and shes askin me " why is kenny sleeping on the toilet?"..i tell her i have no idea what she's talking about. so my dad drags me off the bed,and into the bathroom to see my friend hunched over the bowl..
then as we are lookin at him, he wakes up, and looks at us, then barfs....i said i had no idea why he was there and why we smelled like alcohol....oops....they didnt ask me why i smelled like alcohol...but i just told them....dumbass...
so the next day i got my ass beaten ...literally...with this leather strap that was basically a belt that had half the length of it all cut slit up....so it fuckin hurt like crazy and left all these welts........i only remeber this story because both of us had to write down the whole nights happenings because our parents said to.....oh man...my ass hurt after that....

Hmm... first drink I think was Sun Country wine coolers when I was 15 or 16, hanging out with friends... Got hooked on those and Jim Beam Lemonade's while driving around hanging out at 16-17, graduated to beer and shots... First legal drink was probably purple hooter... they were my favorite for years.
Worst drinking story... wow... well I'll wait for a thread on that one...
Best first drink story I know... a bunch of us are hanging out bowling one night, about 20-30 in the group, one of the guys had his two/three year old daughter with him, just hanging out. She is standing next to him while he holds a beer, takes it from him, drinks and hands it back, like it is nothing... he doesn't notice cause he is a dad, kids take your stuff all the time, and she proceeds to do it again, when we decide to all step in... he was shocked and didn't realize she had even taken it... about 20 minutes later she passes out on the bench, probably more from exhaustion (was late at night) than from the alcohol, but was funny nonetheless...

12 we took a budweiser from our dad's cooler at camp, tasted it, dumped it, and then acted drunk for the amusement of our friends. We "drank" it in the bathroom so we acted drunk by tying toilet paper around our heads with big string behind us and ran around a field.
Possibly close after that we stole a bottle of wine at his bar mitzvah. I like that more, don't remember drinking enough to get drunk.
16 we got a bottle of aftershock and 3 of us sat in a circle indian style, passed the bottle around taking swigs and finished it around 20 min. I was slightly dizzy when I stood up. This is the first time I got drunk, and still get queasy from cinnamon beverages.

I believe it was strawberry boones farm or grape mad20/20. I was 16 and I was sick as hell. threw up in my shoes as I recall. Good times!!
