one thing is a decent song, if muchly overplayed. its alot like lips of an angel by hinder which you hate too, its just not the norm for that kind of band. finger 11 does rock though, ive liked them even through the slow shit :P

 Are you kidding? One thing is the biggest hack of a song ever. This was a good band who tried to make a poppy mainstream song but are so fucking transparent. First time and suffocate are great songs.

 All bands that want to make money have to bend over backwards to get their music recognized by the general public. It's a price you have to pay nowadays. MTV/VH1 are just not going to play the other 12 tracks on the CD.

The "buying" public is still 15 yr old girls and their parents.

 Keep in mind when bands sign a record deal they sign a contract that basically says 'x' amount of songs are essentially in the studio's hands. As in they pretty much have a producer create the song and the band just plays it for them whether they like it or not. You should hear some hit songs before a really good producer got his hands on them.

Its fun going to their concerts. They played with hinder and Black Stone Cherry (who has one of the best singers ive heard in LONG time. Too bad their songs suck) a month or so ago, and the majority of the place was 15 year old girls and their parents. But it was JAM PACKED.

And Finger Eleven opened with Quicksand (litle heavy) and Suffocate (awesome heavy). It was like the entire crowd had no idea what to do. One Thing for F11, and Lips of an Angel for Hinder made them rich, but fucked up their fan base.
