BBC have been showing the Annie Duke series of celebrity apprentice USA over the last few weeks and they showed the final episode last night. Found it interesting that at one point Annie said that her brother Howard had pledged to donate 100k and later on ,in one of the shots showing the silent auction bids there was a bid for 40k from him as well.

She far exceeded the amount Joan Rivers raised , but was this filmed at a time that full tilt was running honestly , or was this at a time that Howard (+any other of Annies FTP pro owners who might also have donated ) had already started to dip into players funds.

Ya, this is a good point. Even if they agreed to let the DOJ handle the repayments with the seized amount, and this squares them with the DOJ, it would be in their best interest to make sure no US players are shorted.

As a non-invested, and relatively objective observer, I have to say that these signs are the most encouraging I've seen throughout this whole shitshow. A company doesn't typically start investing in hiring and/or testing if they're still stuck in a legal quagmire, or if the money isn't there yet.

I wouldn't start celebrating or anything, nothing's for sure, but it does look promising...

You think there's a chance they would only repay SOME of the manies? I think it's either FTP is up and running and every player balance is repaid (except for TonyG's) or FTP is not up and running and nobody gets anything.
