Anyone care to make predictions on how bad this movie will be?

I don't care what they say about Stallone, he was great in True Lies.

what is wrong with you guise. on ftr it is blasphemy to say an unkind word about jason statham. he's just so dreamy and such a great actor who picks profound roles.
hypothesis: in back to the future, replace both doc and marty with statham, and the movie would be perfect

Stallone looks sexy as fuck for 63 years of age...
...
...no homo.
|

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

what...
Statham is a horrid actor. However if cast well, he performs well. I never argued for the affirmative, statham is a great actor. I only argued against the statement, "any movie statham is in, is crap."

This. He has a niche and I like him when he's in that niche, but it has to be a role he fits.

well
his niche is basically the movie Snatch. Hard to call it a niche when its something he has only demonstrated a couple of times. Any actor is great in the hands of a gifted filmmaker.

Agreed but Ritchie is far from being a gifted filmmaker. He's a one trick pony at best.
As for Statham, he's ok - couldn't get excited about him either way.

Ya I think I agree, ritchie is no scorsesi (lol spelling italian names). However hes had a few good movies. And his commercial for bmw starring statham and madonna was fucking awesome since it stared my car

Yeah i agree with that. In fact, Snatch/Lockstock are kinda like Boondock Saints with me in that I like them all less and less as my film tastes have grown more mature over the years.

boost fails at sarcasm
and history
because once upon a time, somebody created a thread blasting jason statham, but then everybody jumped on him for being a hater because statham was clearly the best actor of all time
it srsly happened. no joke. ftr was literally gargling a statham shower

Statham is great in Crank, Snatch, Lock Stock...
Transporter...eh. He was alright, although not the greatest casting.
Not sure how well he'll stack up next to Stallone. Still...looking forward to it.
