first accounting 25% midterm i achieved a 47.5%. There was a 'remedial' class which was once a week for the past two weeks, and today is the last class, where we rewrite. I feel that I know nothing more than previously, and I have also not studied at all.
If i get lower than 47.5%, thats the mark I get, not the better of the two

Haha yeah it's not an English class where you just show up, write an essay, get a B and go home.
There is very little common sense involved in Accounting. It's all about doing practice problems over and over again...
I guess that is why the class average in most my classes is ~60%—people are just too lazy to practice.

So I deiced to write this because someone told me i need to pass midterms 1, 2 and the final (25,25,50% respectivley) to pass the course.
Two profs teach this 'remedial class' my original profs' remedial was schedules during a class time for me so i was moved to the other one.
this test made NO sense at all. it was fucking retarded. I hope everyone from my original class in the remedial class fails huge so we get a pardon from the queen or something. The problem was this guy used jargon that I beleive made sense to his class. I asked about 4 questions and all I got was 'I can't talk to you during a formal exam"
So anyways I was sitting there, with about 1/4 of the test done realizing I was going to fail. My train home comes to the station on the hour and it was about 5 after and it takes 20 minutes or so to get there, so i had 15 or 20 minutes to kill.
So I sat there trying to figure out what to do. Next friday is the last drop date without academic penalty. Pretty much like It never happeded on my official transcript. So I thought of a sick play.
Since I have covered 6 of the 8 chapters in class already, I have a decent understnading of the material. I just didn't practice enough so I couldn't apply myself. The summer break is coming and the course will be re-offered in the fall semester and winter semester.
So I think to self, this being the only class im dropping and i don't want to take summer school. Why not just drop it, learn the material from mid april- to september (summer break) while I am working and doing other things. Pick up a 7th cours in 3rd or 4th semester (the price of 5,6 or 7 courses is the same at my school; we are given 6 we need to take) and I won't need to go to the lectures because I will know the material.
+ev
++ev dont need to waste my weekend studying for midterm II
+++ev I have mondays (3 day weekend) off for 4 or 5 weeks (then finals)

so let me get this straight? You think wasting the first 1/2 of this semester and taking an entire other semester with a 7 course load instead of 6 is better than just studying for 1 weekend?
you sir, are retarded. also, lol at the fact that you would actually study in the summer when you know its not required.
