Ok, so next week me and sarah are going to Bonnaroo Music Festival (www.bonnaroo.com) which we have done the past two years. Its four days of music, booze, and other various things which for legal reasons I will not publish. Anyhow, to get sarah to go I had to agree to go to this "dance show" from this dance school she used to go to as a kid. This will be five hours of annoying gay dance bullshit.....HOWEVER...i was just informed....that there will be a bar. So....I can get completely tanked and most likely forget I was ever there. Is this a +EV trade?

Option 2: "Sarah, you're going to the Bonnaroo Music Fesitval whether you like it or not. If you think a high roller like myself is going to waste my time going to some gayass school "dance show", you're sadly mistaken."
Personally I think both moves are +EV and we just have to figure out which one has the highest expectation. I'd probably go with the first one.

Id probably pop some pills or smoke something just to be on the safe side. That way you can imagine your watching some type of other dancing.

Is it a cash bar? Id go, youll get some brownie points with the girl and who doesnt have a good time drunk at any of those events? If its a cash bar just pregame and have a few there to maintain, otherwise go all out. I think going is +EV for metagame considerations.
